How it works
What happens between opening a vendor's link and the box reaching your door.
Where hauls come from
A vendor sets up a haul — one product, a delivery date, and a number of boxes. They share its page however they like. There is no marketplace to search: the link is the front door, and it works until that run is full or its cutoff passes.
Ordering
You pick how many boxes you want and enter where it goes. We ask for your phone number and text you a code, because that is your identity here — there is no password and no account to make. Delivery is priced from your address when the order is placed, so the total you see before paying is the total you pay.
Paying
Card payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Your boxes are held while the payment goes through, and if a card is declined the reservation stays open long enough to try again.
Delivery
Boxes are kept cold from the warehouse to your door, and the temperature is logged on the way. The driver records the handover with a photograph, and if nobody is home they follow whatever instructions you left.
Following your order
The link we text you opens two views of the same order: the receipt, which never changes, and the status, which does. Anyone in the household can open it — the person who ordered is often not the person who is home.
If something is wrong
Report it from the status page. It goes to the vendor and to us with a clock on it, and you can rate the delivery separately — those are two different things and we keep them apart on purpose.
